4:58am PST 12º 58′ Taurus
What the Moon in Taurus wants most to convey is the message that all the wisdom of the universe is already present in your body; particularly in the human brain. There is nowhere to go, nothing higher than the multileveled intricacy of the brain we have each been gifted. Enlightenment is ever-present; lying dormant, waiting for each of us to awaken, through meditation, the totality of the pre-frontal lobe’s synaptic connections.
Sun/Venus/Mars trining Uranus, and the deeply compassionate, loving and spiritual Moon square to Neptune and sextile to Uranus, make this an especially powerful Full Moon to gather with others and commit to realizing your birthright: an enlightenment that is embodied, selfless, and deeply committed to ending the physical suffering of all other sentient beings.
This Full Moon in Taurus opposed the Sun in Scorpio cradled between Mars and Venus. If you have not established the balance of strength and sensitivity within, you will want to know how to establish it now! Neptune, now direct, forms a tense square to Venus calling us to imagine all love can be. Saturn and Jupiter are still in a dynamic fixed square. Promises and commitments we have previously established can block our desire for expansion. We walk the tightrope of possibilities.
Venus is the primary ruler of this Full Moon and it is in Scorpio at the moment. This will reveal some of our deepest issues around relationships, money, and control. How much do what others think of us effect our well-being? Have we sold our soul in some way to please others? This could be a real revelation. The Planet Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio aiding this process. Getting liberated from what we allow to control us, even our own thinking, is indicated here. We will feel the results of this by the next Full Moon which is the fourth of December and even better by the 10th when Mercury joins Jupiter in Sagittarius.
This Full Moon in Taurus roots down deep to ground, to channel the intense energy of the Sun and four planets in the abyss of Scorpio:
Mars, strong call to action
Venus, vibrational harmony,
Mercury (retrograde) internal reconceptualizing, processing and release, and
Jupiter, expanded possibilities, amplified feelings of yes or no. (Kelley Hunter at http://www.heliastar.com)
The Sabian symbol for this lunation: A Porter Carrying a Mountain of Heavy Baggage.
A link must be built through the power of the collective mind of the group, on the basis of the legacy of the past, to make a bridge over the canyon.
This is a symbol of the joy in effort put forth on the practical or everyday side of life, and of the adjustment by which the human individual is able to make his niche for himself in each available sphere of activity. Here is an extreme of independence on the strength and resources of self, and an emphasis on the fact that there is no function in society which is not of equal importance with every other in fulfilling a person’s need to be useful.
The keyword is INDUSTRY. When positive, the degree is an effective self-competence and virility of interest in normal living, and when negative, a dissipation of selfhood and a depreciation of all ambition through the performance of drudgery without protest. “Sabian Symbols” Marc Edmund Jones.

The sacred tree of the Druids and the Roman God Jupiter is most noble as it withstands winter storms.
